The job holder will be responsible for the business analysis and financial modeling in the University.
Financial modelling and forecasting
Pricing based on detailed cost analysis
Prepare reports of all business units showing their contribution and overhead allocation
Co-ordinate and review of daily back office receipting and banking
Preparation of year end budgets and monthly budget execution reports
Assisting with preparation of month end accounts
Billings and sales invoices reconciliation
Monthly cash flow projections
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business or related area from a recognized university;
Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and Member of ICPAK in good standing
Minimum of 2 years relevant working experience
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Ability to develop spreadsheets and perform data analysis
Excellent Advanced excel skills
Knowledge of generally accepted Accounting Standards
Excellent communication skills and team player
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
Working knowledge of short and long term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, zero based budgets and profitability analysis.
Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
