OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
(KITENGELA CAMPUS)

JOB OBJECTIVE

Ensure implementation of administrative policies and procedures for efficient and effective operations at the Campus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all enquiries from continuing/new/prospective students, guests of the campus and staff

  • Coordinate general office administration including office appointments, guest management, cleaning and messengerial duties

  • Coordinate all staff meetings by handling correspondence, venue and minute -taking

  • Coordinate inter-campus correspondence to ensure requisite resources are provided and are in good working condition.

  • Assist in the Admissions process by issuing new and continuing students with all relevant materials including course summaries, rules and regulations, timetables etc.

  • Coordinate all internal communication & referrals including staff and students’ grievances directed to the office to the Campus Director or Deputy Campus Director

  • Stocks and inventory management - Monitor and replenish use of campus resources such as brochures.

  • Assist in the capture and management of student e- records

  • Participating in marketing activities within and outside the campus.

  • Faculty Support - Issue lecturers with teaching materials

  • Faculty support - Manage class attendance registers

  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate should possess the following qualifications and experience

  • Diploma in Business Administration

  • 2 years’ experience in a busy office environment is preferable

OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software

  • Report writing skills

  • Fluency in oral, & written English and Kiswahili (highly desirable)

  • Ability to apply sound judgment initiative and creativity

  • Attention to detail; and

  • Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
